About Rumford Ministries

Gordon Rumford

Gordon has had much adversity in his life, and made it a life calling to help others who’ve been in similar circumstances. He survived several cancer surgeries, has other health issues, and has suffered the pain of a marriage breakdown.

For about 25 years he was company chaplain to ISECO, where he had private consultations with various employees who needed support.

Gordon’s chaplaincy work included work in various Southern Ontario hospitals as well as a volunteer chaplain in criminal court. Over the years Gordon has visited many prisoners in Ontario penal institutions.

Booklets Available

Gordon has written two small booklets on coping with life issues that are available to anyone who emails us with a request.

One booklet examines and clearly describes how Abraham coped with the mysterious command of God to sacrifice his son Isaac. 

The second booklet is a series of short stories that illustrate how Gordon has helped those in various situations, and how you can apply these scriptural guidelines to minister to those who are suffering.
